I took this picture for my double page spread to reresent the band 'Havoc' the name suggests the band would be lively and rebellious therefore i decided to take a photo of one the members about to smash a guitar as this look very rebellious. For my magazine I altered the light levels in the photo to make it look a little darker.
The photo is used in my contents page to represent 'Festivals of 2012' I choose this because the model had wristbands from 2 festivals. This lighting is very dark so when I came to edit it I altered the levels of the photo so it was brighter and more clear.
This picture was take vertically for my front cover photo, this means there is more space at the top of the picture for a masthead and that his eyes are in the middle of the photo at eye level with the reader. I edited this photo by altering the level of light as this is alot of shadow.
This photo is also in my contents page, representing a band, I edited this photo by altering the levels to make it slightly brighter and I also used the patch tool on my models, this adds to the conventions of a music magazine.
